1、Who is Magic Power Cat ?

   With a big round head, Magic Power Cat looks at the world with its unfeeling eyes. The mouth of Magic Power Cat opens widely as if it is confused. This comic character represents people in today's modern adult world, who feel exhausted of the increasingly fierce competition in society and sophisticated life styles. The Magic Power Cat represents the prevailing sense of self-protection and ego-orientation, but remains a child in heart. The Magic Power Cat seeks fairness and virtue. It hates hypocrisy and deception and is always willing to help the minorities and wants to build a utopia with freedom, love and peace. Although it is not an easy task, Magic Power Cat will never abandon this ultimate dream!

Magic Power Cat relates the innocence of childhood fantasies and the sophistication of the adulthood, as a symbol of the “ kidult ” phenomenon nowadays, it represents lots of us!

2、 Competition Specification ：

   Who can join?
    Individuals who love to draw or design.
   What type of work should I prepare?
    Hand drawings or digital graphic works.
   What are the requirements for the work?
   ( 1) 、The main character in the work must be the Magic cat, the facial expression and background settings are subject to creativity.
    ( 2）、 Additional design elements (texture, layouts...etc,) are encouraged in your art work.
   （3）、All art work must be original. Each participant can only be one individual(no group participation)
   （4）、Message expressed in the art work should be positive and encouraging.
   （5）、A 100-word essay that explains your work must be included with your art work submitted.
   （6）、Size of the art work: no smaller than 285mm x 420mm.
   （7）、Each participant can only submit maximally 3 series of work (up to 4 pieces of illustrations). Digital graphic works must be in A3s with a resolution of 350 dpi. E-copys must be saved as JPEG files. Hand drawings must be in scanned files or photos with the size from 4-8 megabytes.
   （8）、All art works submitted will not be returned. Art work that reflects any notion of racism or religious discrimination will be disregarded.
   （9）、Participants are reliable for all consequences caused by plagiarism.

3、Important Tips :

   （1）、 Participants will not be charged any fees in this competition.
   （2）、Please visit http://www.miti-x.com/chahua/chahua-e.php to download the application (together with the commitment letter). All information filled in must be computer processed and saved to a CD-R that also included your art work. All documents must be in both hard and soft copys(the art work, the application form and the commitment letter), these documents should be sent with a copy of your identification card to :

      （4）、No art work will be accepted without a signed commitment letter. Any deceptive or false information found will result in application failure.
    （5）、Terms and conditions in the commitment letter are applicable to all art work submitted by the same participant.
    （6）、Make sure all submissions are made before the application deadline. Submission time of mailed items will be referred to post mark of the sending date, that of materials sent to the committee in person will be referred to the date they are received .
